FUN with FELT

 So I have been super into making cute little things out of felt. On Etsy there is the cutest felt food set ever! Unfortunately it's close to $80 dollars. So I am practicing my sewing and planning on attempting making an altered food set myself....We shall see...

A quick and easy Easter

Planning a last minute Easter party at my house was a lot easier than I thought it was going to be. A quick trip to the D.I. for mason jars and to Walmart for eggs and flowers.
The mason jars were only .25 cents and the eggs $2.00, which I boiled and made deviled eggs for dinner that night.
With the other jars I put tea lights and stones in them. I think everything turned out really cute for only spending $6.00 on supplies.

Valentine's

Having no Valentine decorations and no extra cash to spend I decided to make my own, using what I already had around the house. The frame ($1.00) and wreath ($.25) I got on one of my many excursions to the DI. The lace and buttons are from an old shirt my aunt didn't want and the beads from my store of craft supplies. With the help of a glue gun and a little bit of wire I have a Valentine's wreath for less than $3.00!
